I chose to build a private-pay practice because it allows me to focus on what matters most—you. Without the restrictions that often come with insurance, I have the flexibility to tailor therapy to your unique needs rather than fitting our work into predetermined requirements. It also means your care remains between us, without the need to share additional personal information with an insurance company. Another added benefit to private pay is longer session times. My goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized therapy where our time is guided by your goals, not by paperwork.

I am an out-of-network (OON) provider by your insurance company and can provide an invoice for third party reimbursement (also known as a “superbill”) at your request. Many insurance companies reimburse for out-of-network providers.
Please know that when utilizing your benefits to be reimbursed through a superbill, insurance companies can gain access to review your clinical records to determine if services are medically necessary. In these circumstances I will need to provide a diagnosis.
I recommend reaching out directly to your insurance provider to learn about your out-of-network benefits. -
Think of it as having a real conversation with someone who's trained to help. We'll laugh when it's appropriate, call things out honestly, and talk about the hard stuff without making everything feel so heavy. Therapy is serious, but that doesn't mean every session has to feel serious. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, have genuine conversations, and leave feeling like you actually got something out of your time. My hope is that therapy feels like somewhere you actually want to come, not somewhere you feel like you have to go.

I know reaching out for therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially if you've had a bad experience before or you're not sure therapy is "your thing." My goal is to make the process feel approachable from the very first conversation. You'll find a space where you can be yourself, talk openly without judgment, and have honest conversations that lead to real progress. I value authenticity, humor when it fits, and creating an environment where you don't feel like you have to say the "right" thing.

For clients who are a good fit, I offer walk and talk session in a local outdoor setting. Many people find that walking helps them feel more relaxed, think clearly, and have conversations that feel a little less intimidating. We’ll decide together if it’s an appropriate option based on your goals, comfort, and confidentiality needs.
I carefully selected places throughout Nassau County and Western Suffolk County. Locations are chosen to support privacy, safety, and a comfortable therapeutic experience, and are confirmed prior to your session.
